Discover Scuba Diving

This is an introductory course for scuba diving. You will do your first steps under water in pool like conditions. A dive up to 12m depth follows up to discover the beauties of the under water world of Kas. After successfully finishing this course, you will be able to do dives for one year under the supervision of a Padi professional. Scuba Diver

This course is half of the way to get certified as an open water diver. Under pool like conditions you get introduced how to handle scuba equipment under water. These skills are practiced with 2 open water dives up to 12m depth. After successfully finishing this course you will be certified thru the worlds most recognized dive training organization – Padi – and will be able to do dives up to do dives up to 12m depth under the supervision of Padi pros. All practical applications, academics and fees can get credited towards continuing programs.

Program content: Three academic modules ,Three confined modules, Two open water dives
Prerequisites: min. age of 10 for junior scuba diver

Open Water Diver

The Padi Open Water Diver course will make an independent diver out of you. In 5 academic modules you will learn the fundamental knowledge of diving physics, dive planning, equipment and diving physiology. In pool like conditions you will master all basic skills of scuba diving and practice them in 4 open water dives.After successfully finishing this course you will be certified thru the worlds most recognized dive training organization – Padi – and will be able to do dives up to 18m depth.

Program content: Five academic modules (with 4 tests and a final exam) Four confined and two open water dives.
Prerequisites: min age of 10 for junior open water diver

Adventure Diver

This is the first step of the Advanced Open Water Diver course and can be held on one day. It is a course with almost only practical application on 3 dives. On all dives you will do a different specialty area. Possible special areas could be photography, navigation, deep diving, drift diving, wreck diving… You can choose 3 special areas out of the possible ones. All practical applications, academics and fees can get credited towards the Advanced Open Water Diver course. The dives can get credited towards the specialties as their first dive.

Program content: Three open water dives in that special area
Prerequisites: Padi Open Water Diver certificate or equivalent, min age of 12 for Junior Adventure Diver

Advanced Open Water Diver

The Padi Advanced Open Water Diver course is almost only with practical application on 5 dives. On all dives you will do a different specialty area. Possible special areas could be photography, navigation, deep diving, drift diving, wreck diving… The deep and the navigation dives are core. You can choose 3 elective dives out of,possible ones.The dives can get credited towards the specialties as their first dive.

Program content: 2 core dives and 3 elective dives
Prerequisites: Padi Open Water Diver certificate or equivalent, min age of 12 for junior advanced open water diver

Rescue Diver

The PADI Rescue Diver Course is about to prevent and handle diving accidents. You will learn how to avoid dangerous situations. The cause and handling of stress situations above and under water are trained. The skills to handle near drowning victims, the transport on land or boat and the first treatment are trained. The function of a well organized rescue chain and EMS are discussed. Further parts of the course are equipment related problems and diving medicine.

Prerequisites: Padi Advanced Open Water Diver certificate or equivalent, min age of 12 for Junior Rescue Diver. The approval of visiting a First Aid course such as the Emergency First Respond within 24 months.
Program content: Five academic modules (final exam) 9 Skills and 3 Emergency simulations in open waterin Open Water

Divemaster

Become a PADI Pro!
The dive master course is the first step to become a PADI pro. During this course your diving knowledge and skills are brought up to instructor level. You assist divers training on all levels and guide certified divers thou out their dive trips. Get involved with equipment maintenance, tank filling and boat handling.

Enriched Air Diver

Enriched Air 0r Nitrox makes it possible to extend no decompression limits. The goal of this course is to understand and to practice the safety concerns about oxygen enrichment of the air. There are no skills to be done during the dive itself, so it is easily combinable with the advanced open water diver course. In this case all advanced dive would be done with Enriched Air.

Prerequisites: Padi Open Water Diver certificate or equivalent, min age of 15, 10 logged dives.
Program content: Academics, 2 dives with nitrox Ean32 / Ean36

Specialties

Drift Diving (2 Dives)
Techniques and skills to handle currents the use of float devices, techniques to avoid Buddy separation and navigation.

Diving with a Dry suit (2 Dives)
This course shows the feeling to be in the water and not to get wet. With the special techniques how to use the suit and handle it.

Multilevel Diving (2 Dives)
The use of the “Wheel”, diving in different levels, understanding decompression better, Explanation of how dive computers work and how to use them.

UW Photographer (2 Dives)
This course makes it possible to prove that it is true what you have seen, Maintenance care and how to take pictures under water.

Boat diving (2 Dives)
Starboard or Port side, this course gives the information how to move on a dive boat for safe and fun dives.

Night Diver (3 Dives)
You will never forget your first night dive. After getting to know the specialized equipment for night diving you will practice all considerations of a well planned night dive.

UW Navigation (3 Dives)
This course shows how to navigate with the compass and how to use the natural environment. You will use dive time more efficient, You will prevent long swims on the surface and rise safety.

PADI Specialties *For PADI Advanced Open Water Divers or equivalent

Deep Diver (4 dives)
The physiological background how to plan and do dives up to 40m. Starting with the considerations of nitrogen, up to safety concerns and the special equipment to do a safe dive and accent.

Wreck Diving (4 Dives)
This course is about how to penetrate safely a wreck. The use of guide lines and special considerations of accessories are discussed as well.

Search and recovery (4 Dives)
Several methods to search an object under water. The use of compass and lines for an efficient search, and how to recover an object up to 50kg.

Technical Diving Courses
