Open Water Diver

The Padi Open Water Diver course will make an independent diver out of you. In 5 academic modules you will learn the fundamental knowledge of diving physics, dive planning, equipment and diving physiology. In pool like conditions you will master all basic skills of scuba diving and
practice them in 4 open water dives.After successfully finishing this course you will be certified
thru the worlds most recognized dive training organization – Padi – and will be able to do dives up to 18m depth.

This is the first step of the Advanced Open Water Diver course and
can be held on one day. It is a course with almost only practical application on 3 dives. On all dives you will do a different specialty area. Possible special areas could be photography, navigation, deep diving, drift diving, wreck diving… You can choose 3 special areas out of the possible ones. All practical applications, academics and fees can get credited towards the Advanced Open Water Diver course.
The dives can get credited towards the specialties as their first dive.

The Padi Advanced Open Water Diver course is almost only with practical application on 5 dives. On all dives you will do a different specialty area. Enriched Air 0r Nitrox makes it possible to extend no decompression limits. The goal of this course is to understand and to practice the safety concerns about oxygen enrichment of the air.
There are no skills to be done during the dive itself, so it is easily combinable with the advanced open water diver course. In this case all advanced dive would be done with Enriched Air.
Prerequisites: Padi Open Water Diver certificate or equivalent, min age of 15, 10 logged dives.
